Telestrations Game Night - Review of Game

I got to try out Telestrations thanks to Tryazon. We had a lot of fun playing, especially since none of us could draw.

Everyone I invited to come over bailed on me, 'cause they're all a bunch of lame-os, but my fiance, his mom, and a couple of the kids (my fiance's son and nephew) played, so it wasn't a complete bust.

Review of 3Doodler Pen + Powerpuff Girls Activity Kit

I was selected to host a 3Doodler Powerpuff Yourself Party via Tryazon, and I received my party pack a couple of weeks ago. I hosted my party last weekend, and this is my review of the products.

The 3Doodler is a 3D Pen that uses plastic that you can mold and shape to make fun 3D designs. The pen was party of the Powerpuff Girls starter kit, and it also came with molds to Powerpuff yourself. In the picture above, you can see the molds for clothing, glasses, and the head with eyes.

The pen took some getting used to, and we did have a few fails before getting the hang of it. One of my friends decided to try and make a Doodle Bob from Spongebob before we tackled the Powerpuff Girls molds.

I attempted to write my name and my one son's name as well, just to try and get the hang of the pen.

It actually turned out better than I expected. Not bad for a first attempt.

Anyway, then it was time to try making a Powerpuff version of ourselves. None of the adults really had any success with molding the plastics around the head, and what we did manage kept falling off.

However, one kid managed to create some seriously awesome magic with the pen. Here are his pics:

As you can see, the kids definitely had more success with using the pen than the adults did. But we all had fun with the pen, and we'd definitely recommend it as a fun gift for kids who are crafty and enjoy creating things. It's definitely worth it. I'd give the 3Doodler Pen 4 stars. Takes some getting used to, but if you're an artsy person, it should be easy to play around with.

Review of Whiffer Sniffers

I was selected to host a Whiffer Sniffers Party via Tryazon, and I received my party pack a couple of weeks ago. I hosted my party last week, and this is my review of the products.

Whiffer Sniffers are cute plush backpack clips/plushies/stickers/etc that smell like what they look like. They also have super cute names to go along with their scent, like Maci Macaron and Marty McPie (he's a pumpkin pie, btw). These are the Whiffer Sniffers I received to "sample" with my group:

There's Phil O'Jelly (strawberry jelly doughnut), Billy Bluesberry, Milton Melon, Slippery Sam, Georgia (she's a peach), and the mystery one. Who did I get as my mystery Sniffer?

It's Mikey Milkshake! And yes, he does smell like a chocolate milkshake. He's awesome!
My group of family members really liked these Whiffer Sniffers, and they were so excited to get one of their own.

Overall, we really enjoyed sampling the Whiffer Sniffers and discovering some new, fun, and kid-friendly to collect. I want them all!

Review of Mott’s for Tots Organic Apple Juice

Let me start by saying that I received two coupons to grab free samples of Mott's for Tots Organic at Target from Smiley360.

My son and I both enjoy apple juice, but we usually just grab Juicy Juice when we get apple juice at the store. Or we occasionally buy juice boxes, but not the Mott's brand. However, I was curious about the Mott's for Tots Organic Apple Juice and couldn't wait for my son to try it. I also tried a glass of it.

My son seems to like the juice, and he's always asking for some to go with his lunch or dinner. That makes me happy, as this juice doesn't have a lot of unnecessary ingredients. It's straight and to the point, and there's nothing unreadable or unpronounceable on the label. Definitely a plus for me.

I also really liked the taste of the juice. It's got a more crisp apple flavor, sort of in the same vein as apple cider, but not as tart or spicy, if you will. It tastes fresh and doesn't leave a yucky aftertaste like some organic drinks do.

Overall, Mott's for Tots Organic Apple Juice is a tasty, refreshing beverage that will make any parent proud to serve to their little one. It's all real, with a lot less sugar, and no added yuckiness. Plus, it has vitamins that are beneficial to your toddler. Win!

Review of Corazona's HeartBar Oatmeal Squares

**I received a free sample from PinchMe**

This oatmeal square is really tasty. The blueberry flavor comes from dried blueberries, and it's not overwhelming or too sweet. It does add a nice boost of fruitness to the rolled oats of the oatmeal square.

The HeartBar is packed with 16 grams of whole grain, 6 grams of protein, and 5 grams of fiber. Most "healthy" foods that are packed with good-for-you nutrients are kind of bland and tasteless. Not the HeartBar. It's really good! I was surprised by how much I liked it.

I could see myself eating one of these for breakfast or a snack, along with some yogurt, and feeling satisfied and full. It's not heavy, but it does make you feel less hungry. Plus, there's the potential to help lower your cholesterol, if that's something you need to do.

Overall, I really liked the blueberry HeartBar oatmeal square, and I would definitely recommend them to everyone. I'll be looking for these in the store now. So good.

Review of Snapple Straight Up™ Tea

Let me start by saying that I received two coupons to grab free samples of Snapple tea at Target from Smiley360. I was excited to be able to try this tea, as I am such a huge fan of iced tea in general. Snapple is my favorite brand as well, so it was a win-win for me.

The samples I bought were of the Sorta Sweet Tea variety, as shown in the picture above. However, you can also get Sweet Tea and Unsweetened Tea if you so desire. Since sampling the Sorta Sweet version, I've also tried the Sweet Tea and preferred that. However, the Sorta Sweet Tea isn't bad at all.

I really liked the taste of the Sorta Sweet  Straight Up™ Tea, but I do think the Sweet version of the  Straight Up™ Tea is best. I like sugary sweet things. The Sorta Sweet Tea is tasty and fun to drink without being overwhelmingly in your face with sweetness. If you want an iced tea that won't beat you over the head with sugar, but still have some flavor to it, I'd definitely recommend going with the Sorta Sweet version.

If you don't like your tea sugary at all, you can pick up some of the Unsweetened  Straight Up™ Tea and have a field day with it. Snapple definitely knows what appeals to iced tea drinkers, and they offer variety that makes everyone happy.

Snapple Straight Up™ Tea is also made with all-natural ingredients and no artificial anything. Plus there are also green and rooibos tea varieties. Awesome!

Yep, that's me looking silly while I enjoy my Sorta Sweet Tea.

And if you're interested, you can save 20% on Snapple Straight Up™ Tea at Target. Whoa! Savings ftw, am I right?

(I snapped this pic while at Target)

Overall, I'd recommend Snapple Straight Up™ Tea to fans of iced tea, or the Snapple brand in general. It's the best of the best, and there are varieties that will make everyone happy. Huzzah!

Review of Goldfish® Colors Baked with Whole Grain

Let me start by saying that I received a free sample of these crackers from Smiley360. I was excited to be able to try them, as my son loves Goldfish crackers. I figured they were colorful and perhaps better for you than regular Goldfish because of the whole grain.

The sample I received was a full sized bag of crackers, as shown in the picture above. My two year old son was super happy when he saw them and couldn't wait for me to open them so he could have some. I, of course, had to sample some, too. I am, after all, a kid at heart. :)

I really liked the taste and colorfulness of the crackers. I also liked that they have 12 grams of whole grain baked right into them. My son enjoys eating them with lunch, dinner, and as a snack.

Overall, I'd highly recommend Goldfish® Colors Baked with Whole Grain to everyone! They're fun to eat, and a much better snack than potato chips. Yum!
