Review of 3Doodler Pen + Powerpuff Girls Activity Kit

I was selected to host a 3Doodler Powerpuff Yourself Party via Tryazon, and I received my party pack a couple of weeks ago. I hosted my party last weekend, and this is my review of the products.

The 3Doodler is a 3D Pen that uses plastic that you can mold and shape to make fun 3D designs. The pen was party of the Powerpuff Girls starter kit, and it also came with molds to Powerpuff yourself. In the picture above, you can see the molds for clothing, glasses, and the head with eyes.

The pen took some getting used to, and we did have a few fails before getting the hang of it. One of my friends decided to try and make a Doodle Bob from Spongebob before we tackled the Powerpuff Girls molds.

I attempted to write my name and my one son's name as well, just to try and get the hang of the pen.

It actually turned out better than I expected. Not bad for a first attempt.

Anyway, then it was time to try making a Powerpuff version of ourselves. None of the adults really had any success with molding the plastics around the head, and what we did manage kept falling off.

However, one kid managed to create some seriously awesome magic with the pen. Here are his pics:

As you can see, the kids definitely had more success with using the pen than the adults did. But we all had fun with the pen, and we'd definitely recommend it as a fun gift for kids who are crafty and enjoy creating things. It's definitely worth it. I'd give the 3Doodler Pen 4 stars. Takes some getting used to, but if you're an artsy person, it should be easy to play around with.
